Police: 15-year-old shot at North Philadelphia Burger King

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police are investigating after a shooting at a North Philadelphia Burger King.

The shooting happened around 5:30 p.m. at the Burger King located at 8th and Lehigh.

Officials say a 15-year-old boy and his girlfriend drove up to the Burger King but before they could enter a man opened fire on them.

Investigators say the victim was shot twice in his buttocks and his girlfriend drove him to Temple Hospital where he is in serious condition.

The suspect is thought to have used a long rifle to shoot the victim, and fled on foot after the incident.

This is an ongoing investigation.
