Police identify man killed in West Philadelphia shooting

WEST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Philadelphia Police have identified a man who was shot and killed in West Philadelphia Tuesday afternoon.

Around 4:00 p.m. offices responded to the 700 block of Cobbs Creek Parkway for a report of a person with a gun.

When officers arrived on scene they located Andre Davis, 30, on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medics pronounced Davis dead at the scene.

Investigators say Davis was in a dark colored SUV, and got out in the area of Cobbs Creek Catherine Street, where he was chased by two other men who began shooting at him.
