HOPEWELL TWP. (FOX 29) - Police are reminding residents to lock their cars after a rash of car break-ins and thefts in Hopewell Township.
"Little scary. Very scary. You think you're safe and your not."
Alison Bickford's son had his Jeep Grand Cherokee parked at their Pennington, New Jersey, home when someone broke in. It was one of many cars either broken into or outright stolen in the area recently.
"My son was going to school in the morning and went out to the car and noticed there papers everywhere, change everywhere," she told FOX 29.
Police say cars on Woodsmere Way, Kings Court and Jefferson Place were burglarized. Cops say many are high-end cars
West Windsor police say the vehicles were unlocked with key fobs inside at the time of the thefts.
