The Haddon Township Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in connection with a tip jar theft.

It happened last Wednesday around 7 p.m.

"Looked so suspicious to the young girl working and they waited for customers to leave," owner of Primo Water Ice Adriana Adams said.

Adams says a man made a small purchase--complained about the price--then they left.

"Seconds later, he came back in took the jar and walked out," Adams said.

According to the owner, about $20 was taken. Investigators say they drove off in a Kia Sportage.

Police say the man with a beard was wearing gray sweatpants,a black sweatshirt, black high top sneakers and a red knit winter cap. The suspect also had tattoos on his hands and on his neck. The female is described as wearing a gray coat, tan pants, boots and a knit hat.
