NEW CASTLE, DE (WTXF) - An 11-year-old boy is safe after a New Castle County police K9 found him.
Police said they got the call from the Sophia's Place West community, Sunday afternoon.
The boy had run away after an argument with his mother.
A staff corporal and his K9 partner Ax responded to help find the boy.
K9 Ax was able to get a scent from the front of the home. He tracked it about a half-mile until officers were able to see the child.
That child was in good health and returned home safely.
