Police Looking For Pizzeria Robbery Suspect

Philadelphia Police are looking to apprehend the suspect who was caught on surveillance video robbing a Penrose pizza restaurant at gunpoint.

The robbery took place January 3 at 1:05 a.m. at Pete's Pizza on Passyunk Avenue. Police say the suspect entered the restaurant while brandishing a handgun, demanding money while pointing the gun at employees, at one point pointing the handgun to a female employee's head.

After he was led to a back room, the suspect was handed an undetermined amount of money and then fled down Lloyd Street.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5'7-8, with a thin build, and he was wearing a dark zip-up hooded sweatshirt with "True Religion" across the upper back. He wore a mask on the bottom half of his face.
