Authorities in Bucks County say a series of loud bangs that have been reported around the area over the last two months are explosions.

State police say the explosions were first reported on April 2, and more than 20 explosions have occurred in the early morning hours in Upper Bucks County.

The FBI has since joined local and state investigators as they continue to look into the source of the explosions.

Police say no one has been injured in the explosions, but they are continuing to work to keep the community and the person responsible safe.

Authorities say the explosions disrupt emergency response personnel from their normal course of duty.

A resident tells FOX 29 he heard a blast on Mother's Day, and later found a large crater by the side of a nearby road, and massive rocks displaced into the street.

Earlier this week, Troop M issued a statement designed to reassure the public it's working to solve the mystery, but offering very few details about the blasts.

A Troop M spokesperson told FOX 29 Thursday he: "...was not allowed to speak on camera..."

Anyone with information about the explosion is asked to call Lehigh Valley Crime Stoppers: Call 1-800-426-Tips or Dublin station 215-249-9191.
