ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (FOX 29) - A man has been arrested after police say he stabbed two of his friends in Atlantic City on Thursday.
Just after 11 p.m., officers responded to a home on the 2000 block of McKinley Avenue, where they found two men suffering from stab wounds and the suspect being subdued.
Authorities say 42-year-old Isaac Lowendi had become intoxicated and was asked to leave, but he refused, leading to an altercation in which he pulled out a knife and stabbed one of the victims. The second victim attempted to intervene, but was stabbed as well.
Both victims were transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
Lowendi was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and related offenses. He was remanded to the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
