Police: Man dead after shooting in East Mount Airy

EAST MOUNT AIRY (WTXF) - Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in East Mount Airy overnight.

Shortly before midnight Tuesday, officers responded to the 6600 block of Blakemore Street.

Upon their arrival, officials found a man who had been shot twice in the head. The victim has yet to be identified.

No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
