Police: Man found dead behind wheel of SUV suffered medical emergency

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A man has died after he was found unresponsive behind the wheel of an SUV following a crash in South Philadelphia early Thursday morning.

Officers responded to 10th and Christian Streets just before 5 a.m. to find the driver unresponsive.

Investigators say the man had suffered a medical emergency while he was driving, causing him to crash into parked cars before coming to a stop.
