NORRISTOWN, PA (WTXF) - A man was found dead in the drive-through lane of a McDonald's, and the gunman is on the loose.
Police in Norristown say the victim was 24 years old. They have not released his name.
They say the call came before midnight in the 200 block W. Main Street.
Police told FOX 29's Dave Kinchen the victim had been shot repeatedly, at least six times.
He reports workers at the restaurant would not talk on camera. However, one told him they heard shots but no argument before.
The gunman got away on foot.
The scene is blocks away from the police department and Montgomery County Courthouse, and also the Norristown Transportation Center.
Police have no suspect, no weapon and no motive.
Meanwhile, McDonald's put out this statement: "The security and safety of our customers and employees is always our top priority. We'd like to thank the local police department and our employees who responded swiftly and professionally."
