Police: Man killed after being shot 15 times in Tacony

The 24-year-old victim suffered 15 gunshot wounds throughout the body.

Philadelphia police say a man died after being shot 15 times in the city's Tacony section.

It happened on the 4500 block of Unruh Avenue around 7 p.m. Monday.

Police say the 24-year-old man was taken to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital. He was pronounced dead a short time later.

The victim was rushed to the hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
