COBBS CREEK (WTXF) - Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in Cobbs Creek overnight.
Shortly before 12:30 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the 6200 block of Washington Avenue, where a man in his 20s suffered a single gunshot wound to the chest.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say they found a loaded handgun in the victim's waistband and a bag containing drugs nearby.
No arrests have been made at this time. This is an ongoing investigation.
