Police: Man sought in Center City pepper spray attack

PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - Police say a man purchased a can of pepper spray at a Center City hardware store and used it on a victim while walking down the street.

Officials say the attack happened on the 200 block of South 10th Street Tuesday afternoon. The suspect allegedly pepper sprayed a 51-year-old victim and kept walking down the street.

Police describe the suspect as a 5-foot-9, 40-year-old black man with a beard and mustache.

He was wearing an olive colored jacket, dark pants and brown boots at the time of the incident.
