Locust Grove Police said three missing children have been returned safely to their mother.

On Tuesday, investigators said Archie S. Sawoyea, 27, picked up his girlfriend's three children, ages 11, 10, and 7, from Locust Grove Elementary School after the two got into a dispute. Locust Grove Police said Sawoyea stopped all contact with the children's mother after leaving the school.

Wednesday morning, police said a Lyft driver brought the children back to the motel that they were staying at. They were all in good health.

Sawoyea remains at large, and police are still searching for him.

Police said Sawoyea may be in a 2015 silver Honda Accord with a drive-out tag from Curry Honda. Investigators believe Sawoyea was on a test drive.

Sawoyea is described by police as being 5'11" tall, weighing about 170 pounds, bald, with brown eyes, but is known to wear blue contacts. He was last seen wearing a blue polo and brown pants.

Locust Grove Police said they are seeking charges of battery and cruelty to children for Sawoyea.

Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911.
