Man, 26, shot chest in the chest after fight at Philadelphia bar, police say
Police say a man was shot after a fight at a Philadelphia bar escalated Sunday morning.
PHILADELPHIA - A fight during a Saturday night out in Philadelphia quickly escalated after one man was shot in the chest, according to police.
Two men reportedly got into a fight outside Ipanema Sports Bar and Grill on Castor Avenue in Rhawnhurst shortly after 2 a.m.
A 26-year-old man was found when police responded to calls of gunshots. He reportedly suffered one gunshot wound to the chest. He was transported to Einstein Medical Center, where he is said to be in stable condition.

Police say two security guards and another individual engaged in an altercation at the bar. The security guards, ages 26 and 36, were reportedly working at the time.
An earlier report stated that a suspect had been taken into custody. Police say charges are pending.
