Police say a suspect is in custody after a woman was found dead in her car in Bensalem.

According to police, 45-year-old William Table has been taken into custody in connection with the death of former girlfriend Teresa Priestley.

Investigators say he faces charges, including homicide and kidnapping. Police say he also stabbed a person in a homeless camp in Philadelphia.

Bensalem police say a caller, possibly the victim, said shortly before 7 a.m. Monday that she feared her former boyfriend was going to kill her. Moments later, a crash was reported and police found the woman fatally stabbed inside her vehicle on the 3200 block of Hulmeville Road.

A man was previously seen fleeing the scene on Hulmeville Road Monday morning. Officers then briefly evacuated Priestly's apartment complex, but didn't find the suspect there.
