Police: Two arrested in Prospect Park home invasion; one suspect at large
Delaware County (WTXF)- Authorities announced the arrest of two individuals in connection with an armed home invasion in Prospect Park. A third suspect remains on the loose.
Police say on Monday, May 30 shortly before 10:30 p.m., Prospect Park Police responded to an emergency call for a subject with a gun inside a residence located in the 200 block of Lafayette Avenue.
According to the homeowners, three armed males entered the front door which was unlocked. Police say while holding one of the homeowners at gunpoint on the kitchen floor, the men searched the home for valuables. One of the residents was able to call 911 to report the robbery and assault. At that time, the three men abruptly fled the house through the rear door, according to police. Investigators say during the search of the house and in the rear yard two shotguns were located near the property.
Authorities say Nickoly Lewis, 18, and Dakir Grant, 23, are currently in police custody. The third suspect, known as "Pappo" remains at large. He is described as a black male with brown eyes approximately 18-25 years old.
Anyone with information in regards to the third perpetrator known as "Pappo" is asked to call 911 or Prospect Park Police at 610-534-2222.
