Reports: Nick Foles informs Eagles he's voiding his $20 million option for 2019
PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - Nick Foles told the Eagles he is voiding his $20 million option for 2019, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Foles would have to pay $2 million back to void the contract.
The reports come after the Eagles informed Foles that they would pick up his option, ESPN's Tim McManus reported Tuesday.
Foles could either become a free agent or the team can place the franchise tag on him and trade him.
The Eagles have offered no official comment on the reports.
