No one was injured when officials say the front porch roofs of six homes in Philadelphia's Nicetown neighborhood inexplicably collapsed.

Authorities and members of the city's Department of License and Inspection were called to the 3900 block fo Pulaski Avenue around 10 a.m. for reports of a porch roof collapse.

Home surveillance footage obtained by FOX 29 shows a home's roof suddenly come crashing to the ground, leaving debris along the front sidewalk.

"It was horrible, it could've been more tragic than what it really is because we could have been injured, my husband and I had just left," said Robyn Seigle.

License and Inspection said its ‘Clean and Seal’ team worked to dismantle and clean-up any debris left from the collapse. Residents were allowed to return to their homes later in the day.

"Everything happened on the outside, thank God it didn't happen on the inside, then it would be a different story all together," Frank Copeland said.
