Saquon Barkley highlights list of 6 Eagles selected to Pro Bowl

Saquon Barkley's historic rushing season earned him his third Pro Bowl nod, while a trio of Eagles earned their first trip to the NFL's February exhibition.

Barkley, 27, recently became the ninth player in NFL history to surpass 2,000 rushing yards in a single season – just 100 yards shy of the all-time record.

"This league is not the league without the fans," Barkley told Eagles.com about the Pro Bowl recognition.

Breakout linebacker Zach Baun, second-year defensive tackle Jalen Carter, and Jason Kelce's replacement Cam Jurgens earned their first Pro Bowl appearances.

Saquon Barkley to sit Sunday vs. Giants as Eagles choose rest over rushing record

Philadelphia Eagles running back Saquon Barkley will rest Sunday, along with a number of his teammates, instead of pursuing the NFL's single-season rushing record against his former team.

"It's a big accomplishment, a huge accomplishment," said Baun, who spent four years as a role player on the New Orleans Saints.

Barkley's career season wouldn't be possible without protection from the Eagles offensive line, which is sending a total of three linemen to Orlando in February.

Lane Johnson and Landon Dickerson will join Jurgens to represent the Eagles offensive line in their sixth and third Pro Bowls.

This will be the third year the NFL Pro Bowl will feature skills competitions and a non-contact flag football game.
