HUNTINGDON VALLEY, Pa. - A busy stretch of a Montgomery County roadway was shut down due to an accident involving a school bus and truck. Officials say two people, including one student on the bus, were hospitalized.
The accident happened Thursday night, around 5:30, at County Line Road and Buxmont Road, officials said.
A school bus was stretched over both lanes of the road with a passenger truck wedged under it, as first responders worked to extricate the driver of the truck.
County Line was shut down in both directions between Pine Road and Bustleton Avenue and authorities thought the road would be closed into the night.
Officials said a student on the bus and the driver of the truck were transported to Jefferson Abington Hospital. The student was said to have been treated for minor injuries and the driver treated for moderate injuries.
