School near possible shooting locked down as precaution

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A shooting was reported near a North Philadelphia school and police told FOX 29 News that school was placed on lockdown while they investigated.

The school is William Dick K-8 School, located at 25th and W. Diamond streets.

The alleged shooting was in the 2000 Block of 24th Street, and that's under investigation.

Police say the shooting is not confirmed, and police do not believe at this time anyone has been shot.
