Smoky house fire burning in Chicago

CHICAGO (WTXF) - Firefighters are battling a house fire in Chicago's Far South Side.

Crews responded to the scene in a two-story house at about 6:45am ET.

Chicago's FOX station is now reporting the fire is pretty much under control after an hour and a half, and firefighters are in the "clean up" stage, going in for hot spots.

The family inside got out safely and no injuries have been reported.
