PHILADELPHIA - Snow started the week, but will snow end the week?
A system that is set to bring us light snow this weekend is on the march across the deep south, where 20 states are under weather advisories or winter storm watches, as it makes its way to the Delaware Valley.
TIMING SNOW
- Friday night, early Saturday morning, a system will move across the south and slide north up the coastline.
- Early Saturday morning we should see snow showers, with some a coating of snow forecast.
- Snow ends by Saturday afternoon.
COLD FOR THE WEEK
Meanwhile, it is cold and will remain frigid the rest of the week.
At the bus stop tomorrow, dress those kids very warmly. Overnight and into Friday, winds are still expected to be strong, though not as strong as Thursday. But, with overnight lows in the 20s and Friday highs expected to reach the mid to upper 30s, it will still feel cold.

After Saturday’s system passes, winds will be calm for Sunday’s Eagles game at the Linc. Temperatures will be seasonably cold with highs around 40 at 4 p.m. and hitting the mid-30s by 7 p.m.
Sunday and Monday see temps in the 40s, before dropping back into the low to mid 30s next week. No other snow opportunities are in the seven-day forecast.
