Student gets sweet welcome back to school after heart transplant

(STORYFUL) - A student in Lake Orion, Michigan, got quite a welcome from teachers and students on April 8, his first day back since undergoing a heart transplant.

Lake Orion Community Schools shared footage on their Facebook page of Tyler Krueger running towards his school as students and teachers cheered him on.

"Pine Tree Center student Tyler Krueger returned to school today for the first time this year following his September heart transplant," the post said. Krueger hugs a couple of teachers before he takes his backpack and walks into school.
