Surfers using 'big eye' stickers on boards to prevent shark attacks
PHILADELPHIA - All eyes are on a new trend for surfers meant to ensure their safety.
Surfers are putting big eye stickers on the bottoms of their boards in order to fend off sharks.
Great whites are known to attack surfers and are known for sneaking up on their prety rather than being conspicuous.
It's believed seeing those eyes will make the sharks think they have lost the element of surprise on their prey and deter them from attacking.
