Suspect sought in Delaware County bank robbery
WAYNE, Pa. (FOX 29) - Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with armed bank robbery on Friday morning in Delaware County.
Officials say the suspect entered the Tompkins VIST Bank on the 600 block of Lancaster Avenue around 9:45 a.m. wearing a black mask and brandising a handgun.
The suspect allegedly robbed the bank at gunpoint and fled the scene on foot towards the Radnor Trail.
Police say the suspect sought is a white man approximately 6 feet tall with a thin-to-medium build. He was wearing a dark colored zip-up hooded sweatshirt, khaki-colored pants, a dark baseball cap, sunglasses and gloves at the time of the robbery.
