Suspects sought in North Philadelphia stabbings

Police say a pair of stabbings in North Philadelphia early Thursday morning left two victims in critical care.

The first incident allegedly occurred shortly after 12 a.m. on the corner of 13th Street and Cumberland Street in Kensington. When police arrived on scene they found a 25-year-old man with stab wounds to the left arm and abdomen.

The victim was transported to Temple University Hospital and is listed in critical condition. No suspects have been identified at this time.

Police say another stabbing left a 20-year-old victim in critical care. The incident allegedly occurred around the area of Broad Street and Olney Avenue at approximately 3:00 a.m.

The victim was transported to Einstein Medical Center. Police have not released information on a suspect at this time.
