Teen injured after shooting in Port Richmond

Philadelphia police are investigating after they say a teen was shot in Port Richmond Sunday night.

Philadelphia police are investigating a shooting that left a teen critically injured in Philly’s Port Richmond neighborhood.

Police responded to a reported shooting on the 2000 block of Albright Street just before 10 p.m. Sunday.

The victim, a 17-year-old boy, was transported by private vehicle to a local hospital with multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body.

Sources tell FOX 29's Steve Keeley that at least eight shell casings were found at the scene.

Police say weapons were also recovered. 

No arrests were made. An investigation is ongoing.
