The Phillie Phanatic reports for jury duty

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - The Phillie Phanatic and Villanova's Jay Wright joined court officials on Monday morning for Juror Appreciation Day.

The Phillie Phanatic made the Monday morning a little easier for hundreds of perspective jurors who have been summoned. Today's 'Juror Appreciation Ceremony' kicked off the court's five-day Juror Appreciation Week, recognizing the importance of jury service and the thousands of conscientious private citizens who consistently show up for jury duty and participate in a vitally important and essential part of our justice system.
