Third night of Trump protests in Philadelphia

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF/AP) - Hundreds of protesters are marching through Center City for a third night in protest of President-elect Donald Trump. The group is hoping to spread a message of unity. Expect delays in the area for your Friday night.

On Thursday, women of color, survivors of sexual assault and allies gathered at Philadelphia's city hall to protest. Below is a livestream of Thursday's protest.

The day after the results came in, campaign divisions appeared to widen as many thousands of demonstrators -- here and around the country - flooded streets, marching and chanting "We will not be silent! Not my president!"

Wednesday, hundreds of protesters gathered in both University City and near Philadelphia's City Hall at the same time despite miserable, wet, chilly weather.

Participants included both supporters of Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton and independent Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, who lost to Clinton in the primary. They expressed anger at both Republicans and Democrats over the election's outcome.

Police in University City said nearly 500, mostly University of Pennsylvania students, took part. Ironically, Trump is a Penn alum. He graduated in 1968.

At the same time, police said a group of about 100 met at City Hall and marched north on Broad Street to Temple University. That one was still going strong as late as 11pm.
