NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Police in North Philadelphia have arrested and charged two men in connection with the homicide of a 20-year-old man last Wednesday.
On March 2 nd , around 6:40 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 2700 block of N. Bonsall Street.
When officers arrived on scene, they discovered the victim, Jayvon Mitchell-Pendleton, lying in the street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Police say Mitchell-Pendleton was walking with another 20-year-old at the time of the shooting, and responding officer recovered a 38 caliber revolver from underneath the victim after the shooting
Investigators later identified two suspects in and arrested them on Monday.
Narsir McNamee, 15, and Khalil Davenport, 20, have been charged with murder, attempted murder, conspiracy and a number of related charges.
