Two double shootings in Northeast Philly under investigation: police
PHILADELPHIA - Philadelphia police are investigating two double shootings that occurred separately in Northeast Philadelphia overnight, one of which happened at a nightclub.
Two teens shot in Holmesburg
On Friday at around 9:14 p.m., police responded to a shooting incident on the 4700 block of Shelmire Avenue.
They say an 18-year-old boy was shot once in his chin and twice in his left arm.
He was transported to Nazareth Hospital via private vehicle and then airlifted to Temple where he is listed in critical condition.
They say a 15-year-old boy was shot once in his right arm. He was taken to Temple Hospital and then transferred to St. Christopher's Hospital where he is listed in stable condition.
Two adults shot at nightclub
A few hours later, at around 1:20 a.m., police responded to a shooting incident on the 6200 block of Bustleton Avenue, inside and outside Bamboo Restaurant and Nightclub.
They say two people were struck by gunfire, including a 23-year-old man who was shot in his right calf and a 30-year-old woman, who was found inside the bar, shot once in her left thigh.
Both were taken to Temple University Hospital via police, where they were listed in stable condition.
Based on the preliminary investigation, police say the motive for the shooting at the bar stemmed from an argument.
No arrests have been made, and no weapons have been recovered for either double shooting incident.
