CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Video captured on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte showed a suspect dressed in black and gray clothes being taken away in handcuffs following a fatal shooting Tuesday.
A gunman opened fire at the university, killing two people and wounding four others. Authorities said a suspect was taken into custody and that there was no further threat to the campus.
Police identified the shooting suspect as 22-year-old Trystan A. Terrell. He has been charged with two counts of murder, four counts of attempted murder, four counts of assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, possession of a firearm on educational property, and discharging a firearm on educational property.
A woman on the campus recorded video of officers taking a person off campus in handcuffs. The person was dressed in a black T-shirt, gray pants and the person's face was covered with long brown hair.

The shooting happened around 5:40 p.m. near Kennedy Hall, an administrative building on campus.
Authorities said they received reports of a man with a pistol shooting at people. When officers arrived, UNC Charlotte police Chief Jeff Baker said that they were able to quickly take the suspect down.
It was the last day of classes and a concert featuring rapper Wocka Flocka Flame was scheduled for 6 p.m. The university canceled the event following the shooting.
The identity of the deceased victims were not immediately released.
Three of the shooting victims were in critical condition, Baker said, and one person suffered non-life-threatening injuries. It was unclear if the victims or gunman were students, faculty or staff.
The shooting remained under investigation.
The university has more than 26,500 students and 3,000 faculty and staff. It's located northeast of the city center and surrounded by residential areas.
