Van sought in connection with double murder in Kensington

Police are asking for the public's help locating a vehicle wanted in connection with a double murder in Kensington.

The incident took place on Wednesday, Aug. 22 on the 3300 block of H Street, where two men were fatally shot.

The victims were later identified as 23-year-ol Anthony Torres and 38-year-old Jose Vega.

The vehicle sought is described as a 2004-2008 Chevy Uplander, gold/tan in color with a dark window tint and broken right fog light. The van also appears to have body damage on the passenger side's sliding door and front left fender.

One suspect is described as being a heavyset man with a light complexion. He was seen wearing a black Adidas hooded sweatshirt with white stripes down the arms and a large Adidas emblem on the back, tan shorts and white/black sneakers.

The second suspect is described as a thin man with a light complexion who was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and black sweatpants.
