Video Appears to Show 76er Jahlil Okafor in Altercation Outside Bar

(Boston, MA) TMZ Sports has obtained footage of an altercation appearing to involve 76er Jahlil Okafor outside a Boston bar.

According to TMZ, it happened after the 76ers lost to the Boston Celtics. 19-year-old Jahlil and his friends ended up in an altercation in front of the Storyville Boston nightclub, TMZ reports. People tried to hold Jahlil back; however, he breaks free and swings at a man, according to the video and TMZ. The video also shows Jahlil falling to the ground and a man attempting to punch him in the head.

TMZ is told everyone fled the scene and no arrests were made. TMZ is also told the altercation began because one of the men in the other group yelled at Jahlil, "The 76ers suck."

TMZ spoke with a rep for Jahlil who says Jahlil was being heckled after he left the club. According to the rep, the 76er felt threatened because people swarmed him on the street. The rep says Jahlil did what he felt he needed to do to protect himself and a friend.
