Woman enraged on rampage in Philly chicken shop

A woman in a rampage inside a North Philadelphia chicken shop damaged over $8K, taking her anger out on cash registers, card readers, receipt printers and other items.

A very pricey outburst at a restaurant in North Philadelphia has sparked an investigation as police seek to identify the suspect.

Video captured the moment a woman became irate at the Crown Fried Chicken on Broad Street, in North Philadelphia, early Tuesday morning, around 3 a.m.

First, she smashed two cash registers, two card readers, two receipt printers and a digital menu monitor on the ground.

Then, the woman can be seen aggressively climbing over the counter.

Customer Tamya Brooks said, "She came over the counter like she wanted to kill that man."

Police say the tirade caused damages totaling $8,470.

Woman goes on $8,400-tirade through Philly chicken shop

Video captured the moment a woman became irate at the Crown Fried Chicken on Broad Street early Monday morning.

No injuries were reported. It is alleged the woman apparently wanted a chicken wing for free and when she was told no, employees say she became upset and began the rampage.

Customer Reggie Martin observed, "Emotions. People just can't survive emotions."

The woman is wanted for vandalism, and police are asking anyone with information to contact them by calling 215-686-TIPS.
