EMMETT, Wash. (FOX 13) - A Goldendoodle is eight months old and already a better bowler than some humans.
Blake, the bowling Goldendoodle, can be found hanging out at his owner's bowling alley in Emmett, Washington. His owner, Katelyn Simpson, introduced Blake to the game when he was three months old.
The smart and, clearly, athletic pup has since become a hit on social media under the moniker "Blake the Bowling Doodle." Simpson said his highest game was a 93, and he gets a strike every once in a while.
"We always thought it would be fun to teach him how to bowl and so basically as soon as he got tall enough to reach the ramp, we put a ball up there and we tried just to see what happens," she recalled, "and he loved it."
Simpson said Blake knows other tricks, and already become a mentor to his little brother, Adam. She said he can play dead, high-five, speak and pushes the "easy" button.
"Everybody that I know through bowling … just loves him," Simpson said. "They're like, 'Oh my gosh, you have a bowling dog!'"
