Water main break on Rising Sun Avenue keeps Water Dept crews working in the dark and cold

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WTXF) - Workers with the Philadelphia Water Department were working well into the evening hours January 6 after a 12-inch main broke on Rising Sun Avenue earlier in the day.

30 homes in Olney were without water as crews worked in the dark and freezing temperatures.

The crews were expected to finish repairing the water main sometime in the night.
