PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - The FOX 29 Weather Authority is tracking a system that's expected to bring rain to the area throughout the day Friday, before clearing up for the weekend.
Friday got off to a bitter start with temperatures in the 30s and 40s. Those temperatures aren't expected to move much throughout the day with a high of just 48 degrees.
Rain is expected to fall on and off throughout the day, but the heaviest showers are expected in the evening.

The weekend will bring a pleasant change as we dry out with temperatures in the 70 on the way.
Saturday morning, parts of the area could see some morning showers before clearing up. High temperatures should approach 70 degrees once we see some sun.
Sunday will be dry with a high of 70 degrees, and those temps should stick around into Monday and Tuesday.
