Weather Authority: Sunny Thursday starts late week warm up

A high pressure system will move southward over the next few days which will help usher warm temperatures into the Delaware Valley beginning Thursday.

Phillies Opening Day will be sunny and pleasent with highs nearing 60. Thermometers will rise considerably on Friday, as highs will reach the 60's under partly cloudy skies. Saturday will be the peak of the early spring warm up, as temperatures will hit the low 70's with cloudy skies.

By Sunday, temperatures will fall back into seasonable levels, with a chance of rain. Temperatures will remain in the mid-50's with sunny skies as we head into the work week.
