PHILADELPHIA - Temperatures in the Delaware Valley will be warming back into the 70s on Friday after a wet and rainy St. Patrick’s Day on Thursday.
Most of the area woke up in a fog Friday morning with Dense Fog Advisories in effect through 10 a.m.
As the fog clears, clouds will linger and temperatures that started in the 40s and 50s will warm into the mid-70s.
By late Friday night, some showers will move into the area ahead of more showers that are expected to impact some on Saturday morning. Once those showers pass, forecasters expect some sunshine with more mild and humid conditions.
Saturday’s high temperatures are expected to climb into the 70s and some strong to severe thunderstorms are possible for parts of the region later in the afternoon and early evening.
Sunday will be cooler with highs in the 50s and more cloud cover. A northwesterly breeze will also bring wind gusts of up to 30 mph.
