Wednesday saw lots of sun across the Delaware Valley, but thunderstorms snaking their way across northern Pennsylvania threaten some of that tranquility.

FOX 29’s Kathy Orr says some showers or thunderstorms are possible Wednesday night along a cold front working its way into the area.

While thunderstorms roll across the north and east of Philadelphia, south Jersey is dealing with dense fog. The National Weather Service has issued a dense fog advisory until Thursday morning at 10 a.m.

Temperatures overnight will drop to the mid 60s, though conditions will remain muggy.

Thursday temperatures should peak in the mid to upper 80s before storms make their way into the region. The threat for severe weather will be situated in Philadelphia and south into Delaware and south Jersey.
