Wegmans warns of Facebook scam

WTXF - Wegmans Food Markets warned Monday that a Facebook scam claiming to come from the grocery store chain is not genuine.

The bogus Facebook message claims that Wegmans is giving away a free $200 grocery coupon.

"We're actively working to have this fraudulent post removed from Facebook. We urge consumers not to click it, share it, or provide any personal information," Jo Natale, Wegmans vice president of media relations, said in a statement.
