WEST PHILADELPHIA - Police are searching for a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting Tuesday morning in West Philadelphia.
Authorities say that a 48-year-old woman was shot in the stomach during an attempted robbery on the 500 block of Hoopes Street. The victim was admitted to Pennsylvania Presbyterian Medical Center in critical condition.
According to police, the suspect was wearing a black leather jacket, blue jeans and tan boots at the time of the incident.
