Woman shot and killed in North Philadelphia
A woman in her 20s is dead after police say a shooting occurred in North Philadelphia Wednesday night.
PHILADELPHIA - A woman is dead after a shooting occurred in North Philadelphia Wednesday night.
At around 7:06 p.m., Philadelphia police responded to a shooting on the 2700 block of North Dover Street.
Upon arrival, they say a woman in her 20s was found with multiple gunshot wounds to her body.
She was taken to Temple University Hospital via police where she succumbed to her injuries at 7:27 p.m.
Police sources say more than 20 bullet shell casings were found at the scene.
A female approximately 20-years-old was located with multiple gunshot wounds to the body. No arrests have been made. However, a weapon was recovered.
