Woman shot, killed confronting burglars in southeast Houston
HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Police are searching for the men who shot and killed a young woman while the men were trying to break into vehicles in southeast Houston. It was reported late on Tuesday night on Kingsway Road near Oak Hill.
Police say a family heard noises and and looked outside to see a man inside their car. Two males stepped outside of the car and one suspect ran to a getaway car. As the suspect's car was traveling away, the suspect reportedly yelled something at the family and then fired a shot. The bullet then struck the young woman in the chest. She died at a hospital. Police are actively searching for two males in a dark four-door sedan.
