Young woman's death sparks investigation after being found in Pennsylvania home
SCHUYLKILL HAVEN, Pa. - A death investigation is underway after a 24-year-old woman was found dead Monday afternoon inside a home in Schuylkill Haven.
Officers were called to Parkway Avenue after a friend conducted a welfare check at the request of the woman's family.
She was found dead on the stairs of the home, which police say was in "disarray."
It was estimated by the coroner that the young woman had been dead for approximately 48 hours.

Pennsylvania State Police say a death investigation began due to multiple questions surrounding the woman's cause and manner of death.
Multiple interviews and search warrants have been conducted, and an autopsy is set to be completed.
No further details have been released, but police say they believe this is an isolated incident.
