Devan Kaney

Devan Kaney joined the FOX 29 News team in June, 2023, as a sports anchor and reporter.  

 Devan is also a host on 94WIP-FM Sports Radio’s morning talk show and its Philadelphia Eagles sideline reporter. Prior to joining FOX 29, Devan covered collegiate and professional lacrosse for networks including ESPN, TSN and NBC Sports as a sideline reporter and host.  

 Devan earned her Master of Arts in Journalism and Public Affairs in 2016 from American University’s School of Communication in Washington, D.C., and her bachelor’s degree in Communication and Rhetoric from the University of Pittsburgh in 2013.

 Between degrees, Devan worked in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles and New York.   She was an Executive Assistant to Hollywood big wigs at Lionsgate Studios, Authentic Talent Management, and William Morris Endeavor.

Devan is from Radnor, PA and currently lives in Philadelphia. When she's not on-air or at a game, Devan is usually hanging at home with her dog, Magic - who rules her life - or reading a fantasy or sci-fi novel.
